This looks more like garbage to me than a soemthing readable – but bear with me while I figure out how to use the Transliteration tool Varamozhi. If you know some easier to use tool let me know. One issue I realise is that what I write in Varamozhi is not what you see here :-O ! For example I had correctly written the first sentence – atleast it looked correct in the font Varamozhi uses. But here it looks messed up. I am using the font Chowra in Varamozhi and then exporting it as UTF-8. Suggestions welcome!
Update: I think I have cleared some of the issues – now will sit and correct the spellings during the weekend of this and other posts :-). I have to thank Paul of Chinta.com and Manoj for their help. Thanks Kevin for your comments too 🙂
Update 2: I think I have managed to get moving on using Varamozhi. I will be correcting and updating all the bhagavatham entries soon in Malayalam – and more that Amma sends me. Even managed to get her to start using Varamozhi. We are now getting our emails from her in Malayalam. Does feel great to get emails in Malayalam 🙂

Is the Varamozhi Available for Linux ? I think you can save the file in the Image format so that others can see it. Dilip
Dilip,
Varamozhi is available for Unix. And for Linux I think it should be easy to port it. In any case you can download the source and compile it yourself. Check out the Varamozhi page at http://varamozhi.sourceforge.net.
Cheers,
Pramod
